Advantages of Latex:

It is easy for anyone to edit your file because it’s just a text.
Produces aesthetically beautiful documents.
Easy to use math, symbols, etc.
Once we learned it is much faster and more intuitive.
It is platform independent.
Complex structure such as footnotes, references, table of contents, and bibliographies can be easily generated.

Disadvantages:

Fairly steep learning curve.
Latex will have difficulty reviewing your manuscripts.
Layout changes are difficult.
Many features require libraries.
Customizing is a tedious process.

There are two types of structures:
1. Global structure.
2. Book structure.

Global structure:
