For system programming it is mainly used. For application programming it is mainly used. It was mainly designed for applications and systems, then extension of C programming language. It can be achieved by interfaces in java and does not support multiple inheritance. In C++ we can write pointer program. In java we can’t write pointer program. Internally java supports pointer. It uses compiler only. It uses both compiler and interpreter. It is an Object-Oriented Programming Language and single root hierarchy is not possible in C language. It is also Object-Oriented Programming Language and It is a single root hierarchy as everything gets derived from java.lang.Object.
