What is difference between NTFS and FAT ?

NTFS FAT
NTFS stands for ‘New Technology File System’. FAT is an acronym for ‘File allocation Table’.
It provides complete security to files and folders
in the system.		 There is no security of files and folders in the system.
In case of any failure, the files and folders can be
easily restored.		 In case of any failure, the files and folders are not recovered or restored.
It supports flexible per file compression. No such compression is supported.
