Apache hive is a distributed query
\nengine built on top of the hadoop eco-system.
\nHive is introduced by facebook and later
\non they open sourced it.<\/td>\n		Apache spark may be a cluster computing framework that runs on Hadoop and handles differing kinds of data.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
The language used by hive to write queries is
\nHQL i.e., Hive+SQL.<\/td>\n		Spark has rich resources for handling the data and most importantly, it is 10-20x faster than Hadoop\u2019s MapReduce.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
These hive queries can internally get converted
\ninto MapReduce job and this is fully handled
\nby the Hadoop framework reducing the
\nwork load on the developers.<\/td>\n		It attains this speed of computation by its in-memory primitives. The data is cached and is present in the memory (RAM) and performs all the computations in-memory.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
