  • VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V is a software layer implemented by hypervisors. But hypervisors can also be implemented as code embedded in a system\u2019s firmware.<\/li>\n

    • For this purpose, it is called as bare-metal hypervisors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

      Type-2 or hosted hypervisors<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

      • These hypervisors run on the operating system (OS) just as other computer programs do.<\/li>\n
