Dear Radha,

Thank you for meeting with me this morning. It surely simplified the proper policy for my request, starting with this letter.
As you know, my wife and I are anticipating our first child anytime over the next month. We are both, not surprisingly, going a little nuts arranging. I am applying for fatherhood leave, which I would like to start now after the delivery. Sadly, I cannot give any peaceable dates at this time. All I can attest to at this time is I would like to take authority of the two-week time of statutory fatherhood leave that is obtainable to me. On top of that, I am requiring an extra two weeks of what would be unsettled leave. At the end of the four-week period, I will restart my job immediately.
I have finished all the essential paperwork, which is attached. I am also agreeing my fatherhood leave appeal to my general manager and department head. I understand both will need to accept my request and will only hold my location for a period of one month.
