Dear Mr. Chute,

As a current duty on Sheriff’s Deputy, I was excited to join in the opening for a Police Officer on the New Parkland City Police Department and am willing to submit my application. I have been working patrol in the county for the past three years and have all of my certificates. I have completed my graduation in Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and am a DUI specialist on the Section force.

Currently, I work at the night shift which as you know is when more crime occurs on patrol. When bars are closed, I stop many individuals who are exhibiting driving that is revealing of intoxication. I ask them to perform roadsides and if they fail, I arrest them and transport them to the district jail for further breath or blood testing.

As a police officer, keeping the streets safe for people is my priority. I believe in justice and have experience affirming in court. I work with the District Attorney’s office and am familiar with all of the criminal court judges.

I have been interested to work for the City’s police force and am eagerly waiting for the police officer opportunity. I have attached my documentations and resume for your review. Please call me soon to schedule an interview.
