I am starting with interested in the internship.I am writing to apply for an internship with the State Public Defender system, after to completing my 2L year at the University of Kansas School of Law. I have always wanted to be a criminal defense to an attorney and the ability to defend indigent adolescents. I believe that everyone in the deserves a vigorous of defense. I would gratefully benefit in a summer of the internship.

My first two years of law school have a helped me hone a keen understanding of how to think like a lawyer. I was selected in to be on the Law Review as well as on a Moot Court team that placed nationally. Grades in trial advocacy, criminal law, and criminal procedure courses.

Many courses are will be there.W hile I know classroom abilities to do not always translate into good litigation skills, my successes with the moot court should be indicative.

I would enjoy working as an intern in a public defender’s office. I would bring my best effort to represent in a respect in every client. I have received in a practice approval to under the Student Practices Act and I await your phone call.
