[ Solved -4 Answers]ad.yieldmanager.com results when trying to check Yahoo mail

  • During browsing the User will get redirected to a google page with the error http://ad.yieldmanager.com/st?ad_type=iframe while trying to load home page and also during browsing.
  • Even after using the Ran spybot, ad-aware and spysweeper , problem has not been rectified.

Most of the Yahoo Mail users reports that they were getting a Google search results page that continuously pops up when trying to check their Yahoomail”. The page title contains http://ad.yieldmanager.com/st?..

 Will see how to fix it.

  • Download Trend Micro’s HijackThis
  • Close your browser and Install HijackThis
  • Open HijackThis, Select Do a system scan only button
  • In the results, find this line:

O2 – BHO: Browser Address Error Redirector – {CA6319C0-31B7-401E-A518-A07C3DB8F777} – c:\windows\system32\BAE.dll

  • Tick the checkbox next to that line, and select the Fix Checked button (DO NOT select any other lines without assistance).
  • Restart the browser and navigate to Yahoomail. Now the user can able to access it.

  1. Unzipzip
  2. Double click onexe
  3. Then click on “Restore Original Hosts” to restore your Hosts file to its default condition.
  4. Click on Make Hosts Read Only to secure it against further changes.
  5. Close program when complete

  • Open Notepad, and copy/paste below code in it

Then, disconnect from the Internet!
Next,
Back on to the Desktop, double-click on the fixme.reg file  and click on Yes when asked to merge the information.

Optional if the following programs are there in your computer.

Note: that since the Domains are deleted , SpywareBlaster protection must be re-enabled. Spybot’s Immunize feature must be used again, also you have to re-install IE-SpyAd if installed.

Restart the computer normally

Download Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware from here (http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/malwarebytes_anti_malware.html)

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.

  • Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malwareand Launch Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  • Once the program has loaded, select “Perform Quick Scan“, then click Scan.
  • The scan may take some time to finish so wait until the scan gets completed.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  • When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart your PC.
  • The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
