STEP 2:<\/label><\/strong><\/p>\n\nUnzip the archive<\/strong>you just downloaded. Then, launch\u00a0Terminal<\/strong>, and\u00a0navigate to the directory where you extracted osx-cpu-temp<\/strong>.<\/li>\nYou can use the \u201ccd\u201d command for this.\u201ccd\u201d into the folder that was extracted from the ZIP file<\/strong>, and then type \u201cmake<\/strong>\u201c.<\/li>\nThis will build the\u00a0app, and you can then run it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
STEP 3:<\/label><\/strong><\/p>\nTo run the app, you just have to type \u201c.\/osx-cpu-temp<\/strong>\u201c. This will display the CPU temperature in the Terminal.<\/p>\n
STEP 4:<\/label><\/strong><\/p>\nIf you want to\u00a0change the units<\/strong>\u00a0being used, just use the command as follows:<\/p>\n\n\u201c.\/osx-cpu-temp -F<\/strong>\u201d to display the temperature in Fahrenheit<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

Note<\/u><\/strong>:\u00a0<\/strong>You will always have to navigate to the \u201cosx-cpu-temp\u201d directory, to run the command. If you don\u2019t want to do that, you can add the path to the directory to your $PATH\u00a0environment variable.
