Once you get familiar with GeekTool\u2019s functionality, you can personalize your Mac with some great widgets. Just don\u2019t go overboard with it, as it might cause performance issues.<\/p>\n<h4 id=\"use-cdock-to-customize-your-dock\"><span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"><strong>Use cDock to customize your Dock<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>The Dock is an integral part of your Mac. It\u2019s where you can pin certain applications for faster access and access open documents (unless you become a\u00a0keyboard ninja!).<\/p>\n<p>cDock is a third-party solution that\u00a0<strong>adds tons of settings to customize your dock<\/strong>. Before you can start using cDock, you\u2019ll need to disable SIP on Mac if you\u2019re running macOS El Capitan 10.11 or later. Some of the tweaks will require you to restart your Mac. Some tweaks may not work on all versions of macOS, too. Even More Ways to Customize Your Mac<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Menu bar apps\u00a0are dope on Mac, but some unnecessary apps can make your menu bar look cluttered. You can\u00a0<strong>re-arrange\/remove menu bar apps<\/strong>\u00a0by dragging them around while holding down the\u00a0<strong>CMD<\/strong>\u00a0button on your keyboard. Note that this works with Apple\u2019s system apps and some third-party applications only.
