While a large portion of the circumstances we are very placated when designers give legitimate updates to their applications, new is not generally better. At times, new components may break things or may bring about similarity issues with different applications. Far more atrocious, an engineer may choose to cut out down an element that you use to love in the more up to date form. Regardless of what the reason is, today I’ll demonstrate to you how you can downgrade to older version of applications on your dearest iPhone and iPad:<\/p>\n

Note<\/u><\/em><\/strong>: This procedure requires you to have a jailbroken iPhone or iPad.<\/em><\/p>\n

Download App Admin from Cydia<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n
    \n
  • OpenCydia<\/strong>, switch to the\u00a0\u201cSources\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0tab and add the following source:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    \u00a0 \u00a0 https:\/\/beta.unlimapps.com\/<\/em>\u00a0<\/em>(Don\u2019t forget the \u201cs\u201d after \u201chttp\u201d)<\/p>\n

    • After adding the source successfully, navigate to the\u201cSearch\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0tab and search for \u201cApp admin<\/strong>\u201d (without the quotes).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • Now tap\u201cInstall\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0> \u201cConfirm<\/strong>\u201d to initiate the downloading process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        • Tap on \u201cRestart SpringBoard<\/strong>\u201d to complete the downloading process. App Admin should be successfully installed at this point.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Install Old Versions of iOS Apps\u00a0using App Admin<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

          App Admin helps to install old version of iOS apps straight from the App Store. Here\u2019s how to downgrade apps to older versions:<\/p>\n

          • Navigate to the app you wish to downgrade on the App Store.Long tap on the cloud-like icon<\/strong>\u00a0and a menu should pop-up.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            If you don\u2019t see the cloud-like icon, try long tapping on the\u00a0\u201cOpen\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0\u201cUpdate\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0button. You should have\u00a0the\u00a0current version of the app installed before you can downgrade them.<\/p>\n

            Note<\/u><\/em><\/strong>: For non-downloaded apps, tap on the download icon and quickly cancel the download. You should see a cloud icon now.<\/em><\/p>\n

            • Select \u201cDowngrade<\/strong>\u201d from the menu.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              • It will now list all the older versions available for download.Tap on the version you wish to downgrade to<\/strong>\u00a0and the download should start automatically.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                You may want to search the web if you\u2019re looking for a specific\u00a0version of the app. Also, keep in mind that the listing of older versions may not be available for every app out there.<\/p>\n

                Downgrading an app\u00a0is super-easy, right? Have a look at how I\u2019ve downgraded to the first version of Facebook for iPhone released in 2008!<\/p>\n

                Of course, downgrading an app (this way back!) isn\u2019t practical, but nonetheless great for amusement!<\/p>\n

                Some More Tips to Use App Admin<\/strong><\/h4>\n

                • If you\u2019ve set the App Store to auto-update apps, the older version may be automatically overridden by a newer version. To prevent this, navigate to the app listing on the App Store, long tap on\u201cOpen\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0and select \u201cBlock All Updates<\/strong>\u201c. Of course, this is just for already installed apps.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                  • App Admin adds a handy \u201cTweak<\/strong>\u201d option to popular apps like Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, Chrome etc. in their App Store listing. This option unveils a list of Cydia tweaks related to the app.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                    • There\u2019s not much you can configure in the (already awesome) App Admin, but if you want to anyway, open App Store and switch to the\u201cUpdates\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0 Click on the settings gear icon on the top. You can manage blocked updates and disable App Admin temporarily from here.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                      If you have Jailbroken your iDevice, there\u2019s absolutely no reason why you shouldn\u2019t install App admin.
