The recent\u00a0iOS 10.2 Jailbreak, developers are hard at work updating their Cydia\u00a0tweaks\/apps to generate them\u00a0well-matched with iOS 10.2. Installing every tweak to verify its compatibility with iOS 10.2 isn\u2019t anyone\u2019s idea of fun. Thereby, I lifted through various Cydia repositories to bring you the\u00a010 best Cydia tweaks that are compatible with the iOS 10.2 Jailbreak.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Note<\/u><\/strong>: I tested all the tweaks stated below on my iPhone 6 running JailbrokeniOS 10.2. Some of the tweaks may cause minor clashes with one another as the Jailbreak isn\u2019t fully stable yet, but there shouldn\u2019t be any major problems, though. In the rare case, you get stuck somewhere or need help installing these tweaks, refer to our\u00a0guide to Cydia.<\/p>\n

1.FlipControlCenter<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

The default Control Centre in iOS is quite restrictive, and it\u2019s actually surprising that Apple doesn\u2019t permits you to add\/remove custom toggles. Flip Control Centre brings this much-sought feature to Jail broken iOS devices with the ability to\u00a0add\/remove\/rearrange new toggles<\/strong>\u00a0including Cellular data, Low power and Personal Hotspot.<\/strong><\/p>\n

You can also\u00a0add\/remove\/rearrange apps in the bottom pane of the Control centre. It also adds some neat options for customizing the number of toggles on a page on the basis of device orientation.<\/p>\n

2.iCleaner<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

Certain apps constantly cache data from the Internet and it can be a real pain if you\u2019re stuck with an iPhone with low storage. To make this matter worse, Apple doesn\u2019t provide an option to clear data cache in iOS.<\/p>\n

The safe mode choice can be beneficial to troubleshoot issues you could have with a positive Jailbreak tweak.<\/p>\n

4.Touchr<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

Touchr utilizes the\u00a0TouchID sensor<\/strong>\u00a0to perform positive actions like going back to the home screen, activating Siri or carrying up the multitasking menu. I\u2019m always a bit suspicious about breaking my physical Home button as I press it many times a day. Thankfully,\u00a0Touchr eliminates the need of having to physically press the Home button to perform these actions.<\/p>\n

Touchr can be configured to come across single, double and triple press at the TouchID. It is able to detect and respond to the touch whilst your iPhone\u2019s display if off, although it is able to consume additional battery. Optionally, you can permit vibrations on contact and disable it for unique apps.<\/p>\n

5.Peek-a-boo<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

Peek-a-boo brings the 3D Touch features on older versions of iPhone containing the iPhone 6, 6 Plus and the iPhone 5s. It operates on\u00a0notifications, Home screen icons and pretty much inside every app that\u00a0supports 3D Touch<\/strong>. Whilst there are several tweaks that enable 3D Touch on older iPhones, it is the only one updated to work with iOS 10.2 Jailbreak as of writing.<\/p>\n

In the Settings, you can modifiy the sensitivity, and select to enable\/disable Haptic feedback on Peek and Pop features.\u00a0It works surprisingly well, and if you want more details on installing and configuring Peek-a-boo, previsouly we have done a separate article on how to use Peek-a-boo to bring\u00a03D Touch functionality on older iPhones.<\/p>\n

6.Rocket for Instagram<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

Rocket for Instagram improves your Instagram experience by adding several cool new features. Once you\u2019ve installed Rocket, it integrates with Instagram pretty well. Navigate to Settings inside the Instagram app to view all the new features.<\/p>\n

It adds a lot of Feed improvements like modifying to\u00a0grid view, hiding sponsored posts and mute users<\/strong>. It hits what I believe is one of the most irritating aspects of Instagram \u2014 it reloads every time you navigate away from Instagram and dive back in. It permits you to\u00a0download Instagram posts and Stories<\/strong>. It also contains some stupid tricks like adding a verified checkmark beside\u00a0your profile and fooling your followers count.<\/p>\n

7.Gorgone<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

Apple announced two great iPad-only features that take make use of the larger screen real estate\u00a0\u2014\u00a0Slide Over and Split screen multitasking<\/strong>. Slide Over allows you interact with an another app without leaving the current app by sliding over the edge. Split screen multitasking allows you to use two apps at the same time. Thanks to Gorgone, you can enjoy both of these features on your iPhone, too. As an added bonus, it also enables Home screen rotation.<\/p>\n

To intiateSlideOver, just\u00a0swipe from the right edge of the screen<\/strong>\u00a0inside any app and it\u2019ll bring up a list of apps. Tapping on an app and adjusting the drag bar will now open up the Split screen multitasking.<\/p>\n
