Asphalt 8 is one of the\u00a0favorite\u00a0mobile games. It is very fun to play, and even comes with a local (and online)\u00a0multiplayer mode,<\/strong>\u00a0which makes it better. On the Android TV, the game is available on the Play Store, and\u00a0runs just fine on the Mi Box. The frame rate is not very smooth, but it\u2019s\u00a0completely playable, for sure. What makes this game so addictive, is possibly the fact that you feel like it\u2019s easy enough, when it\u2019s not, and that it requires you to maintain a\u00a0fast\u00a0pace, right from the start.\u00a0Making your way through traffic is hard enough, but the game quickly moves on to streams that you have to cross by stepping over logs, and leaves.<\/p>\n The\u00a0graphic quality in the game is purposely poor, but\u00a0that is what adds to the overall charm, and feel of the game.\u00a0In addition, the fast-paced movement, and the easy control scheme makes it a lot of fun to play. If you\u2019re thinking this is yet another zombie apocalypse game,\u00a0it kind of is. However, the \u201ckind-of\u201d open world maps, and the graphic quality of the game\u00a0makes for a very interesting game design. You can walk around the map,\u00a0completing objectives<\/strong>, and much more.\u00a0The game\u00a0requires a gamepad<\/strong>\u00a0to play, and you will have to set it up before you can get to playing the game.\u00a0While the set up does take some time, but the\u00a0idea of\u00a0customizing the controls<\/strong>\u00a0when the game launches, so you know exactly how to go about playing the game, and completing the objectives handed to you.<\/p>\n When the game starts off, you\u2019re in a post-apocalyptic world filled with zombies, and you\u2019re\u00a0armed with just a melee weapon, and a handgun<\/strong>. Also, playing the game on a bigger screen give the\u00a0visuals a much deeper perspective<\/strong>, bringing out the real horror in running along a field filled with zombies, and obstacles.\u00a0The game is easily playable with a gamepad, and tells you controls as\u00a0you go along.\u00a0Running is automatic, and all you have control over, is\u00a0turning left or right, to avoid zombies as well as shooting from weapons that you can pick up from crates that are dropped randomly.<\/p>\n The\u00a0game is basically an\u00a0endless runner, and it gets progressively more difficult<\/strong>\u00a0to play, as\u00a0the distance increases. You will need to be\u00a0quick with your reflexes, and turn at the exact moments, to avoid colliding with a zombie, resulting in death.<\/p>\n Download<\/a><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0(Free, with in-app purchases)<\/p>\n Badland is another fun game that you can play on your Android TV, is the critically acclaimed, and widely liked game Badland. The game has received over 1 million ratings, and averages out at 4.5\/5, which is nothing short of marvelous. On the TV, the\u00a0minimal graphics<\/strong>\u00a0look extremely good, and the colors stand out well. You can play the game with a gamepad, or with the\u00a0Android TV remote control, and it feels a lot like other\u00a0tap-to-fly<\/strong>\u00a0games like Flappy Bird.<\/p>\n In Badland, you can hit walls, and obstacles as much as you need, as long as you don\u2019t get stuck in them, which results in death. The objective is to\u00a0cross the level while dodging obstacles, and collecting power-ups<\/strong>. Levels get increasingly harder, and the game doesn\u2019t stop being interesting.<\/p>\n Download<\/a><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0(Free, with in-app purchases)<\/p>\n Zombie Age 2 is a fun,\u00a0side-scrolling shooter game<\/strong>,\u00a0with light graphics, and a funny take on killing zombies. The game starts off with teaching you the basic movement, and shooting scheme. Then, you\u2019re quickly thrown into the field, expected to defend yourself with\u00a0just a baseball bat, and a pistol. The first couple of levels are easy, and just when you start unlocking weapons, and basically start feeling invincible, you\u2019ll be shoved into a level that seems almost impossible to complete.<\/p>\n It\u00a0challenges in unexpected ways<\/strong>, and tries to keep you on your feet, and\u00a0keep your adrenaline pumping. Fast Like a Fox<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Fast Like a Fox is a\u00a0level based, side runner game<\/strong>\u00a0that will keep you entertained for hours. In the game, someone has stolen all the foxes\u2019 treasures, and it is your responsibility to find, and return\u00a0them all. But that\u2019s not all, you have to\u00a0be as fast as you can<\/strong>. Playing the game itself is easy, you simply press and hold the running button on your gamepad, and the fox increases it\u2019s speed over time. You can press on the jump button to\u00a0jump\u00a0over obstacles, and chasms<\/strong>, or to collect coins, and gems that are hanging above in the air.<\/p>\n But,\u00a0running is not everything in the game you\u2019re really supposed to slow down at the perfect time to be able to collect every single piece of treasure on the level. At the end of each level is a diamond, that you have to touch. However, funnily enough, if you\u2019re too fast, and you happen to jump over the diamond, the level doesn\u2019t get over, and you have to restart from a little ways back. BombSquad<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n BombSquad is one of those games that you can enjoy quite a lot with a keyboard, but not so much with a gamepad. The game supports a\u00a0number of different gameplay modes<\/strong>, including\u00a0single player\/co-op, or multi-player. The game is a lot of fun when played in multiplayer mode all you need to do is connect\u00a0two controllers to your Android TV, and you\u2019re all set to play with your\u00a0friends.<\/p>\n BombSquad has a number of great levels, and the sole goal of the game is to\u00a0kill all your friends\u2019 characters<\/strong>. You can punch them, lift\u00a0and throw them off the platform or chuck bombs at them. The game is a lot of fun, even in single player mode, but playing with friends will bring out its true potential. Does Not Commute<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Does Not Commute is a very different type of a game, and while it\u00a0comes off as confusing to start with, the objective of the game becomes pretty soon. The game follows\u00a0turn by turn stories<\/strong>\u00a0of a number of different people, all of whom are heading somewhere or the other, and you\u00a0have to make sure that they all get to their destinations, in the given time limit, while\u00a0avoiding collisions with other cars<\/strong>. From the starting of the game, you will need to think\u00a0about things like the shortest path to their destination,\u00a0and then, as the game progresses, you will need to figure out the best paths for each one of them, so they don\u2019t end\u00a0up colliding with each other, or with buildings, and other obstacles.<\/p>\n The game is fun, and the\u00a0graphics are very nice<\/strong>.
