Apple allows a lot of irritating features by default but you can simply fix these irritations with a simple dive into Settings.<\/p>\n[ad type=&#8221;banner&#8221;]\n<h4 id=\"1-remove-notification-badge-app-icon\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>1. Remove Notification Badge App Icon<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>iOS shows a red notification badge icon on a home screen app for unread notifications by default.\u00a0You can quickly look at the home screen and the badge will display if you\u2019ve any unread notifications. Some people may find it irritating if they don\u2019t use a certain app and it still shows a lot of notifications or they may need prefer a\u00a0cleaner look. See New Mails at Top in Threaded View<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>By default, iOS 10\u2019s Mail app organizes your emails by threads and displays the\u00a0oldest mail at the top in the threaded view. This leads to unnecessary scrolling to the bottom to reply to the newest mail. If you\u2019ve some other issues with the default Mail app, then you should consider using\u00a0alternate email clients for the iPhone.<\/p>\n<h4 id=\"7-disable-the-ability-to-reply-from-lock-screen\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">7. Disable the Ability to Reply from Lock Screen<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>iOS 10 allows to reply to messages from the Lock screen, even if you\u2019ve a passcode\/Touch ID set. While this may be a convenient feature for some, it could raise privacy concerns for others. Disable Press Home to Unlock<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>iOS 10 with the iconic \u201cSlide to Unlock\u201d feature and introduced a new \u201cPress Home to Unlock\u201d feature. This makes unlocking a little more inconvenient, as you have to press the Home button twice once to wake up the device and then the other to unlock.
