Don\u2019t fret, because today I\u2019ll be showing you how to clear cache in iOS 10:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"><strong>Clear Cache on iPhone (Non-Jailbroken\u00a0Devices)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<h4 id=\"1-using-a-companion-pc-mac-app\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><strong>1. Using a Companion PC\/Mac app:<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>There are various file managers that let you browse your iPhone\u2019s files on your Windows system or Mac. However, obviously, as Apple takes notice, the functionality is removed in subsequent updates. One such app available on the App Store is <strong>\u201cBattery Doctor\u201d<\/strong> (free). The application&#8217;s essential utilize is to show battery utilization and other related information, yet the engineer incidentally figures out how to sneak in a <strong>\u201cJunk clear\u201d<\/strong> option. Reinstall Apps:<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>This may be one of the most difficult solutions, but the only one that Apple officially approves of. If you want to clear the cache of an installed app, say Instagram or Facebook, you can just<strong> uninstall and reinstall that app<\/strong>. You can re-download the app from the App Store. Of course, this is extremely difficult because you have to clear cache for an individual app and also, all the data is deleted and you need to log in again.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pro tip<\/strong>: These days, more and more apps are including an option to delete\u00a0app cache right inside the app. Dive into the app settings to see whether an app supports it. Dropbox and Twitter for iOS are the two big names that have added such an option in the latest updates.<\/p>\n<h4 id=\"clear-cache-on-iphone-jailbroken-devices\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Clear Cache on iPhone (Jailbroken Devices)<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>If you\u2019ve jailbroken your iPhone, there are various jailbreak tweaks that let you clear cache and free up space:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>CacheClearer<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>One such free twist that I\u2019ve generally tested is CacheClearer. CacheClearer enables you to\u00a0clear cache on a per-app basis without going through the hassle of reinstalling apps. It <strong>adds an option to clear cache right into the app settings<\/strong>, so it almost feels kind of like a native option.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To use it, just add the Cydia source <strong>\u201chttp:\/\/rpetri.ch\/repo\/\u201d <\/strong>and download CacheClearer.
