You don\u2019t need to wait, as there\u2019s a cool new app that\u00a0brings the Android N quick reply feature to any Android device.<\/p>\n<p>Here we discuss about how to get the Android N quick reply feature on any Android\u00a0device running Marshmallow or Lollipop with the quickReply app:<\/p>\n<h4 id=\"install-and-enable-the-app\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><strong>Install and Enable the App<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>First, you have to install the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.jamworks.quickreply&amp;hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">quickReply app<\/a>\u00a0on your Android device. The app is in beta and it\u2019s\u00a0<strong>available only for devices running Android 5.0 and above<\/strong>, so if you have an Android device running older Android versions, you are out of luck.<\/p>\n<p>After you\u2019ve installed the quickReply app, you\u2019ll have to\u00a0<strong>grant the app \u201cnotification access\u201d<\/strong>. As you may have estimated, the Reply button reply to a message or email directly from the notification shade and it looks identical to Android N\u2019s implementation. But, if you need to personalize the look &amp; actions of the\u00a0quick replies, the app lets you do that.<\/p>\n<p>Initially, you can head over the \u201c<strong>Basic settings<\/strong>\u201d of the app and\u00a0enable\/disable\u00a0one of the reply actions. You can also select to disable ChatHeads notification here and change its display mode.
