You can remove some distractions by leaving old workspaces you aren\u2019t active in anymore. Here\u2019s how.<\/p>\n<p>Go ahead and open the Slack application on your Windows PC or Mac and\u00a0navigate to the workspace like to leave. Here, select \u201cProfile &amp; Account.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Once selected, the Workspace Directory will appear on the right side of the window. Click the icon with three vertical dots that appears under your profile image.<\/p>\n<p>Another drop-down menu will appear. Here, select \u201cAccount Settings.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-32848\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wikitechy.com\/technology\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/edit.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"410\" height=\"364\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u201cAccount Settings\u201d tab of the selected Slack workspace. This tab will open in your default browser. You might have to sign in to your Slack workspace to proceed.<\/p>\n<p>In this tab, scroll down until you see the \u201cDeactivate Account\u201d option. Be sure to read the description and its accompanying admonition.
