Nexus 5X is one of the best smartphone which offers Android experience with powerful Specifications. Nexus 5X powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor with 2GB of RAM. It comes with a 5.2 inches 1080p IPS display with 423ppi pixel density. The phone has 12.3 MP with 1.55 \u00b5m pixels Rear and 5MP front camera. Along with the powerful specifications we can add extras by rooting our phone but first we need to unlock bootloader of Nexus 5X.<\/p>\n<p>To install a custom ROM or want to root our phone, first we have to unlock the bootloader of Nexus 5X. Once we unlock the bootloader of Nexus 5X, we can root and install a custom recovery on our phone.<\/p>\n[ad type=\u201dbanner\u201d]\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Rooting may void our phone warranty, and we won\u2019t claim it back.<\/li>\n<li>It will erase all your personal data including data of internal storage, so we advise you first to take a complete backup of your phone and then proceed.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure that your phone has at least 50-60% charged to prevent the accidental shutdown in-between the process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 id=\"how-to-unlock-bootloader-of-nexus-5x\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><strong>How to unlock bootloader of Nexus 5X:<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><label class=\"label label-success\">STEP 1:<\/label>Enable \u2018USB debugging\u2019 and \u2018OEM Unlock\u2019 option from setting>developer option>. To enable Developer Options, go to About phone and tap the Build Number 7 times.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4032\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wikitechy.com\/technology\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Unlock-Bootloader-of-Oneplus-two.png\" alt=\"developer option\" width=\"852\" height=\"563\" \/><\/p>\n<p><label class=\"label label-success\">STEP 2:<\/label>Install the ADB and fastboot driver for windows or ADB and Fastboot for Mac and then restart if you already have the driver installed then skip this step.<\/p>\n<p><label class=\"label label-success\">STEP 3:<\/label>After installation of the driver, you can see a folder named ADB in your installation directory. It will return your device serial number means your device properly connected.
