Scenario:
More number of files are opened for sharing purposes.
Error:
ERROR_SHARING_BUFFER_EXCEEDED and the error code thrown is 36 (0x24).
Fix 1:
The windows event ID – 36 means that the Kernel 5.0 is unable to handle too many open files. Hence it is better to close all files and retry sharing with few files.
Fix 2:
Restore the system to the previous restore point in an effective manner as follows - Click "Start" -> type "System Restore" in the search box (Run), -> choose system restore as shown below.
Follow the wizard steps and select a restore point to fix the issue.
Fix 3:
Login to PC with admin rights and update the latest patch for windows using Control Panel -> System and Security - > Windows Update as shown below:
