Who wouldn’t want to play a game and wish to be a pro at it? But here is the thing, best players don’t become pros without putting in the required effort in terms of practice and time. However, along with that, they also rely on advanced techniques and tactics to give themselves the advantage they need to win the championships. One of the ways to develop your skills is to listen to the guidance of seasoned players and experts who have had success in Apex Legends.

Here are some of the insider tips and tactics that will assist you in becoming a pro and give a competition to Apex legends hackers.

1.   Use different melee moves

Finding a gun in Apex Legends’ most common landing zones can be difficult, and you can quickly find yourself in an unwinnable situation, mainly when surrounded by armed opponents. There are, however, a few melee options that you can use to outplay your opponent.

  • Firefights in Apex Legends are extremely fast and can be won or lost in a matter of seconds, so staying active should be a top priority when attacking. As a consequence, when brawling with armed players, you should avoid using the game’s regular melee combat, as it can leave you vulnerable to incoming enemy fire and explosives.
  • Put in some jump kicks and sliding uppercuts to hold your opponent on their toes. Both of these melee attacks can be performed by jumping and sliding, then pressing the melee attack button.

2.   Discover how to drop faster

With such a limited supply of items and equipment available, it’s difficult to escape the unavoidable early-game death. After all, those who land in decent areas have better access to game-changing items, while those who lag are often forced to battle for low-tier leftovers.

Fortunately, you can prevent many of these early-game problems by simply changing the way you float down to your destination. Most players will ping the spot where they want to land and then take a diagonal route down before reaching their destination.

While this may seem to be a decent way to get to your destination, you will lose a significant amount of speed and total travel distance. Drop straight down to gather speed (145), then pull back up to begin gliding towards your destination (135), then drop again to pick pace, and repeat this process until you reach your destination.

3.   Objects in enemy Death Boxes can be pinged

The ping system in Apex Legends is straightforward, and it rewards squads who use it to ping enemy positions, point out nearby loot, and recommend nearby points of interest.

Many players, however, struggle to call out what is inside enemy death boxes.

Once you’ve looted a downed enemy and taken the necessary equipment, ping any things that might be of interest to your squad. After all, these things can give your teammates the advantage they need to save you in the future.

4.   Break the gate

Doors may become obstructed by Death Boxes, downed matches, and even Caustic’s gas canisters at times. You can easily smash a door with a few melee hits or throw a frag grenade at its base to blow up the door and everyone standing behind it.

Just keep in mind that both of these choices make a lot of noise, so use them if you want to force a firefight or get out of player-made traps.

5.   When you’re downed, ping enemy positions.

Being ‘taken down’ is extremely popular in Apex Legends, and while it might be tempting to ignore the onscreen action, it’s still a good idea to try to support your fellow squad. When you are downed, you cannot strike back against your enemies, but you can still ping enemy positions and alert your team of their movements.

This not only helps friendly players escape a fatal flank or an incoming enemy attack, but it also allows them to revive or retrieve your dog tag. When you are downed, try to switch to an area with some cover and begin carefully navigating your way back to your team. To absorb incoming damage, use your Knockdown Shield.

Use your Knockdown Shield to handle incoming damage and close the distance between you and your allies. Maintain your composure and provide your teammates with the knowledge they require to swing a fight in your favor.
