What is the difference between static and dynamic IP ?

The static IP is fixed which means it could
not be changed until the user wants to change it.
Dynamic IP changes each time when a user connects to a network.
The associated risk of website hacking is large
in static IP because it is always constant.
There is low risk regarding dynamic IP.
When the device is configured with static IP address,
it can be tracked.
In case of dynamic IP address the tracking of the device is difficult as the IP address is always changing.
Expensive than dynamic IP Cheaper than static IP
Use DNS to map domain name to IP address,
and use domain name to address
the static IP address.
Use Dynamic DNS for dynamic IP address, but it’s not as clean as the static IP address.
No need of additional hardware or special configuration
required in Single computers.
