How to Forward Calls on Android Without Using Third Party Apps

If you are unaware, call forwarding is a feature that gives you a chance to divert calls coming to your number to any other number. For example, you are on a vacation and you need to divert your work calls to your office or you are unreachable but need to take calls on another number, you can use call forwarding. Here discuss about the ways to activate call forwarding on Android:

Forward Calls on Android Natively

Step 1:

Go to the Phone app on your device and in the app, hit the three-dot menu button and tap on Settings.

Step 2:

In the Phone settings, go to “Calls” and then, tap on “Call forwarding“.

Step 3:

Here, you will find options to activate call forwarding for all the calls or when your number is busy, unanswered or unreachable. You can just tap on one of the options and then enter the number you want to divert calls to.

Step 4: 

Once entered, call forwarding will be enabled and you will see a persistent notification suggesting you that the call forwarding is active.

Step 5: 

That’s it! After you are done, any calls on your number will be diverted depending on what options you chose. You can turn off call forwarding from the same settings. There’s also an option to update the number you want to forward calls to.

The above-mentioned codes don’t work for you, you can just search for your operator’s specific code on the web. Additionally, there are third party apps on the Play Store that claim to bring the call forwarding features but most of them are outdated.
